Kyle Larson was not dreaming. He was actually in victory lane on Saturday after winning the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Fontana, Calif.
“People last 11, 12 laps had been the longest laps of my existence,” Larson mentioned. “I have been so shut to winning so a lot of times, but the trend we did it in was further special.”
Final year’;s prime rookie in the Nationwide Sereis, Larson is from Elk Grove, Calif., near Sacramento, and he drives the No. 42 automobile for Chip Ganassi Racing in the Sprint Cup series. Check out the video to hear what Larson had to say after ultimately breaking through for the win:
