NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. has constantly been a single of the most popular drivers in all of motorsports. He has dealt with that variety of stress admirably. Now, with his recent entrance into the world of Twitter, followers are feeling closer to Junior than ever prior to.
Possessing now won the season-opening Daytona 500 and completed 2nd in Phoenix, Earnhardt is at the forefront of the sport both on and off the track. Earnhardt was asked in Las Vegas if the recognition is putting greater demands on him.
“No, I don’;t truly believe about it that considerably,” he stated. “I will not be concerned about the demands or fear about the acceptance or any of that things. Naturally he followed with his latest arrival on the social-media scene.
“I interact with them [the followers] on social media a good deal more lately, and it has offered me a excellent point of view of how they feel and what their power is. We have usually had a very good connection with our fan base, and it’;s even stronger now, I feel.”
Earnhardt’;s Twitter account can only enhance his acceptance with followers of the sport, but the factor of it that is drawing the most praise is undoubtedly his “Throwback Thursday” submissions. On “Throwback Thursday,” Twitter end users submit photographs from the previous and caption them. Earnhardt has a huge library of NASCAR background at his disposal, and looks keen to share pieces of history with followers.
“Yeah, it’;s [Throwback Thursday] great,” said Earnhardt. “You want to throw them all out there at once. I got a lot of images on my mobile phone for ‘Throwback Thursday.’; It is pretty neat. It helps make Twitter enjoyable, seeing all the other photographs and just currently being in a position to be reminded of background and individuals and particular occasions. So yeah that is definitely a whole lot of fun.”
