Team boss Christian Horner was pleased that Red Bull Racing landed a 4th and sixth location at the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix at a track that he explained did not favor Red Bull, even though he admits that the gap to front-runners Mercedes is nonetheless wide.

Daniel Ricciardo moved up from 13th spot as each drivers have been ready to run rapidly in the ultimate stint on the soft tires. Sebastian Vettel completed sixth.
