3,000 photos mix into fascinating video documentary

Chris Herridge bought an engine for a Triumph Spitfire on eBay. He then proceeded to get 3,000 photos as he disassembled and rebuilt it, potentially destroying his camera but gaining a shiny new SU-outfitted Triumph engine by the time he was done — eleven months later. We get the video above in spite of obtaining taken no component in the labors. Not negative.

Spoiler alert: the Spitfire drives off in a reassuringly intact method. For now. If there’;s ever an oil leak, we hope Herridge paperwork it (with a new DSLR) and sets the result to Mahler’;s Eighth.
