LAKE PLACID — The March 15 and April 19 Sons of the American Revolution Highlands Chapter meetings will be at twelve:30 p.m. at Highlands National Financial institution in Lake Placid.

YMCA internet hosting plant sale

SEBRING — The Highlands County Family members YMCA is internet hosting a plant sale  from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

They will have canna lilies, salvia, bush daiseys, delphinium, verbena, gaura, lilies and plumbago and will have the ideal rates in town, “guaranteed.”

Lake Placid FFA ideas Cornhole tourney

LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Senior FFA is organizing its third yearly Cornhole Tournament at Roger Scarborough Discipline on March 28. Registration is $ 40 per group.

Registration is at 5:thirty p.m. and the tournament play commences at 6 p.m. Teams can register on website.

The winner of the tournament will obtain a commemorative set of cornhole boards. The tournament is held in conjunction with the Lake Placid Alumni Barbecue.

Sebring Masons serving BBQ

SEBRING — Masons Lodge No 249 will serve an all-you–can-eat barbecue chicken lunch on Sunday from eleven a.m. to 2 p.m. for a $ 10 donation.

The menu is chicken, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad, dessert and beverage. The Lodge is on the corner of Property Avenue and the Sebring Parkway. The public is invited and take out is offered.
