Driver was stripped of his second-location finish at Australian GP

LAT PHOTOGRAPHIC – Daniel Ricciardo was disqualified from the Australian Grand Prix after a fuel-movement concern. Ricciardo was stripped of his second-place finish.

Formula 1 team Red Bull has officially appealed to motor sport’;s governing physique more than Daniel Ricciardo’;s disqualification from final weekend’;s season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

The Australian driver thrilled the property crowd with a second-spot finish behind German winner Nico Rosberg to secure what looked like his very first profession podium on his debut for Red Bull, where he replaced veteran driver Mark Webber throughout the offseason.

However, he was stripped of the end result due to a technical breach. Race stewards mentioned his auto violated fuel-movement guidelines introduced this year which restrict automobiles to 25 kilograms of fuel throughout the race.

The FIA subsequently disqualified Ricciardo, elevating McLaren drivers Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button to 2nd and third, respectively.
