The FIA has confirmed its earlier program to introduce price handle and value reduction laws for 2015 following a meeting yesterday.
The laws will be presented to the Planet Motor Sport Council in June and will come into force for the start of following season.
An FIA statement mentioned, “The FIA president reaffirmed to members of the WMSC the FIA’s intention to assure a healthier, inexpensive and spectacular FIA Formula A single Globe Championship for the long-term long term. At a meeting of the F1 Strategy Group yesterday, chaired by the FIA president, and attended by Bernie Ecclestone and the teams, it was unanimously agreed that expense reduction and value management laws will be presented to the WMSC in June 2014 for introduction in January 2015.”
Meanwhile, there have been some updates to the rules for each this 12 months and past, despite the fact that they have however to be totally ratified:
Amendments to the 2014 Sporting Regulations have been also accredited, but are subject to ratification by the F1 Commission and teams. These include:
